New Prairie Lady Cougars Golf Team placed 10th out of 18 teams at the State Regionals shooting a 381 which is the lowest regional score in the team’s 49 year history.

Leading the team was Sophomore Jaiden Winters with an 88, followed by Freshman Jenna Bauman 94, Senior Jordan Winters 98, Freshman Jayden Flagg 101 and Senior Zoie Martinez 102. Coach Bruce Watson was pleased with the team’s performance. The ladies have worked extremely hard to become just the 3rd team in school history to qualify for the State Regional. To break the old Regional low score of 401 set back in 2006 by 20 strokes marks this 2020 team as one of the best at New Prairie history. The ladies should be very proud of their accomplishments.

Winning the Regional was Culver Academies with a 341. Medalist for the match was Lucy Quigley of Tipton with a 77.
