The NPCC girls’ squad finished in 6th place at this morning’s Sectional, missing an opportunity to advance to the Chesterton Regional as a team by one place. Although the girls did not advance as a team, 6 of the varsity 7 earned an advancement to the Regional as individuals. Lillian Zelasko led the Cougars with a 2nd place finish, followed by an awesome pack of Holly Wykoff 33rd, Audrey Henning 35th, Brianna Hooton 36th, Ilayna Baltes 38th, Alexis Lichtenbarger 41st, and Sage Mougin 46th. Next week’s Regional is hosted by Chesterton at Sunset Hill Farm County Park.
