The Lady Cougars started off strong in the first quarter leading Lake Station Edison 12-1. Little by little, the Eagles capitalized on the Cougars fatigue. Sophomore Eva Skye Dodds and Senior Jordan Winters handled the pressure put on by Lake Station but overall, the team was unable to withstand the pressure. Overall the Lady Cougars as a team competed hard and represented New Prairie in a battle in the championship game. Conference play resumes on Tuesday with a trip to Penn for a JV/V double header tipping off at 5:00pm.
