A stringy defense and a steady offense paved the way for a 26 – 7 Cougar victory at Culver Military Academy. Senior Brandon Kasinger, junior Jacob Meyers, and sophomore Jacob Mrozinski each had six tackles to lead a hard-nosed defense. CMA was held to 6 first downs and 40 yards rushing.
Sophomore Noah Mungia gained 139 yards in 27 carries, including a 15-yard touchdown run. Senior Ian Skornog completed 5 of 11 passes for 102 yards, including a 19-yard touchdown pass to junior Aydan Roberts. Skornog also ran for 82 yards in 17 carries, including a pair of 2-yard touchdown runs. Sophomore Dallas Ryans made 4 receptions for 83 yards.
