Plymouth jumped to an early lead that the Cougars could never overcome. The Rockies defeated the Cougars in the first game of Sectionals, 36 – 20. New Prairie’s season ends with a 5 – 5 record.
Senior Bobby Siford scored all three Cougar touchdowns on runs of 44, 17, and 8 yards. For the game, Siford gained 155 yards on 10 carries. Senior Ian Skornog ran in a 2-point conversion. Junior linebacker Jacob Mrozinski made 19 tackles, while senior end Koley Weinberg made 18. Junior tackle Michael Rodriguez had a sack. Junior Adam Borror blocked an extra point.
