The new Prairie Cooper’s boys soccer team lost their match to Riley High School by a score of 5-1.
The Cougars played most of the game on their heels, having difficulty with the aggressive runs made by the Riley players. The lone highlight for the Cougars was when sophomore Corbin Jonas chipped a perfect ball from 30 yards out and scored his 4th goal of the season. Sophomore Trent Platz also made several spectacular diving saves in order to keep the scoreline down.
The Cougars next play away on Thursday, September 24th against Culver Community High School at 5 pm central time.
