The junior varsity volleyball team finished 1-3 with losses to Crown Point, Valpo, and Munster, and a win over Merrillville. The Cougars showed a lot of heart and hustle today ending their season on a high note. Leading the way for the Cougars was Addison Byers with 14 kills, followed by Aerabella Churchill - 12, Brynn Burvan - 10, Kayla Witkowski - 9, and Alana Witkowski - 8. K. Witkowski led the back court with 21 digs, followed by Burvan - 20, Marissa Knoll - 17, and Braelyn Gersey - 10. Addison Miller dished out 39 assists while also scoring 6 aces. A. Witkowski also added 4 blocks. Destinee Chavez and Zoey Davis also added to the back court play. The Cougars end the season with a 14-14 record. Lots of improvement was seen over this season and lots to look forward to for the program. Great job this season girls!
