The Varsity Cougars ended their regular season with a 4 - 1 win over Laporte on a hot and sunny Saturday morning! The Cougars played a complete game, dominating every aspect of the game and really coming together as a team. It was one of the best games that we played this year from a teamwork perspective. The Cougars back line of Blake Walker, Parker Martin, Tre Gayton, and John Andrews did a tremendous job of stifling the Slicer's attack. The Cougars had Rory Zarate, Leone Gennari, Adam Martinez, and Danny Archuleta score goals during the game. Eli Mougin, Leone Gennari, and Blake Walker assisted on goals. Evan Chelminiak and Noah Wroblewski did an awesome job in the midfield. They helped to control the flow of the game and distributed the ball excellently. Great job this season Cougars, congrats on our first program win over Laporte and good luck at sectionals on Monday!
