Robinson also returned a kickoff 55 yards to set up the winning touchdown drive after Marian had taken a 30- 27 lead. Sophomore running back Lucas Halderman carried 11 times for 79 yards with a touchdown. Senior Sully Kress and Trenton Mamazza caught the touchdown passes. Senior safety Noah Oberle led New Prairie's defense with 10 tackles. Junior tackle Luis Cruz made 9 tackles. Senior cornerback Trenton Mamazza stopped Marian's potential game-winning drive toward the end of the game with an interception. New Prairie improves its record to 2 - 5 overall, 2 - 3 in the Northern Indiana Conference. This Friday, the Cougars travel to Penn for another conference game. Kickoff is at 6:30 CDT. Seniors Callie Miller and Connor Tidwell were crowned Homecoming Queen and King.
