The NPCC Ladies raced at the Culver Academies Invitational this morning, placing 12th in a very strong field of 25 teams in the large school race, including some out-of-state teams. It heated up really quickly during the girls varsity race, and continued heating up to be over 80 degrees for the reserve races. In spite of the heat, a handful of returners still beat their times from last year, many by over a minute or more! These ladies included Janice Felker, Jill Firanek, Elise Zelasko, Ella Sanford, and Chloe Woodrick. Chloe Woodrick and Olivia Hardy also ran lifetime PRs today! Although many of the girls did not run personal best times in the heat, they raced very well and looked strong throughout. We’re excited to see how they do next week at the NIC Championships!
