No stopping the Lady Cougars flag football team as they rise to 5-0 on the season after putting up a 59-0 win against SB Riley. Senior QB Ellie Harris added 59 passing yards & dropping in 1 TD. Harris assisted Addi Luther in her 35 yd rushing TD. Freshman QB Ayva McClead passed for 16 yards & threw an extra point conversion. McClead also assisted Futa in her 52 yd rushing TD. Freshman QB Lauren Flagg had 2 amazing assists that both resulted in 60+ yard rushing TDs. Addi Luther had another fantastic game with 60 rushing yards, 2 TDs, a 2pt conversion & 3 interceptions. Bailey Futa was an offensive menace tallying 129 rushing yards, 3 TDs (one being a pick 6) & a 1pt conversion. Trinity Waltman added a pick 6 of her own & a 2pt conversion. Envy Hesch & Izzy Young both scored a TD. Tessa Staley matched her jersey number & racked up a 9 yd run. Shai Manley was your wildcard tonight not only being THE rushing queen hammering down 3 tackles, 1 sack & 1 tackle for a loss but she also joined the offense to run a 60 yard TD. Izzy Young had 3 tackles of her own, while Luther & Hesch each had 1. The dog of the defense, Emma Deutscher, locked it down with 4 tackles & never allowing Riley to score. The Lady Cougars play again Wednesday September 24th against Elkhart but at SB Riley 5pm CST.
