Cougars Fall to John Adams, 35 - 34

Senior quarterback Reed Robinson rushed for 218 yards on 35 carries with four touchdowns, but the Cougars fell to John Adams at home 35 - 34. Sophomore runningback Lucas Halderman gained 128 yards on 9 carries with a touchdown. Defensively, senior cornerback Trenton Mamazza led New Prairie in tackles with 8. Senior safety Noah Oberle and junior linebacker Lincoln Gerard each had 5. The Cougars fall to 0 - 4 overall, 0 - 2 in the Northern Indiana Conference. The Eagles improve to 2 - 2 and 1 - 1. This Friday, the Cougars host Elkhart. Kickoff is at 6:30 CDT.
