The NPCC Ladies finished 8th in a field of 22 teams at Culver Academies this morning. The varsity team was led by Janice Felker (23rd; 20:18), followed by Mikaela Wilson (39th; 20:51 -- right at her PR). Raegan Bicker ran a lifetime PR of 21:22, finishing in 61st, followed by Elise Zelasko (70th; 21:44). Rounding out the scoring 5 was Kenna Barnhart in 74th place with another PR of 21:52! Jill Firanek finished in 80th place with a season best time of 22:01 and Afton Maynes finished 112th with a lifetime PR of 23:01! The remaining girls finishing in the varsity race included Ella Sanford (134th; 23:53 -- right at her season best time!), Cora Buss (153rd; 24:41), and Ava Schelstraete (160th; 25:07). In the girls reserve race, Chloe Woodrick led the team, finishing 63rd with a season best time around 24:40 (reserve times that were reported as official results were off by about a minute and half, so these noted times are adjusted to be closer to their real performance times). Madelyn Lower finished close behind in 66th (~24:46) followed by Lexi Hyatte in 87th (~25:25). Maci Allen finished in 99th with a season best performance around 26:04 and Kenzie Boswell earned a PR in 138th around 28:10! Sophia Hackett finished 141st around 28:28 (right at her PR!) and Madison Mitchell was right at her season best around 30:11 in 157th. NPCC will compete in the NIC Championships next weekend at Ox Bow.
