The New Prairie JV volleyball team played with great tenacity through four competitive matches, pulling off three wins and falling once to take third place overall. The team secured wins against North Judson (25-18, 25-20), CMA (25-16, 25-5), and Fort Wayne Snider (25-18, 22-25, 15-3) with one loss to Northridge (14-25, 18-25). Brynn Burvan added 20 kills and 21 digs for the Cougars. Kayla Witkowski secured 21 aces on the day as well as 16 kills and 15 digs. Pela Wojciechowski added 18 kills and Abby Chojnacki led the backcourt with 23 digs. Braelyn Gersey ran the offense with 56 assists. The Cougars compete in their next conference game Thursday against South Bend St. Joe.
