Cougars Pick Up 4-1 Win at Michigan City The Cougars traveled to Michigan City this evening to take on the Wolves and came away with a strong 4-1 victory, improving to 6-3 on the season. At No. 1 singles, Braden Bachmann earned a solid 6-4, 6-3 victory over Zach Williams. At No. 2 singles, Jon Woodham battled through a three-set thriller, coming out on top 7-6 (7-1), 1-6, 10-8 over Eli Green. At No. 3 singles, Austin Bishop picked up a convincing 6-2, 6-0 win over Carson Groszek. At No. 1 doubles, Gabe Banicki and Ell McDonald fell to Thomas Chatfield and Nic Williams 3-6, 3-6. At No. 2 doubles, Grayson Goodman and Riley Wilczynski dominated their match, earning a 6-1, 6-0 victory over Levi Kelly and Cameron Seiler. The JV Cougars also had a successful evening. Westley Newman and Chris Pahs picked up a doubles victory, as did Vander Kress and Charlie Hojnacki. Konner Collins also earned a win at singles. The Cougars improve to 6-3 on the season and will return home Tuesday to take on St. Joe.
