The Lady Cougars earned a 3rd place finish at the NIC Stomp this morning in a field of 10 teams. Leading the team was Janice Felker in 4th place with a time of 20:42. Also earning top 20 performances were Elise Zelasko in 14th with a time of 21:31 (new PR!) and Mikaela Wilson in 18th with a time of 21:37. Rounding out the scoring 5 were Jill Firanek (36th; 22:47) and Ava Schelstraete (54th; 23:42). Great debut 5K performances were run by Kenna Barnhart (23:44) and Lexi Hyatte (27:10). In addition to Elise's 1st meet of the season PR, Olivia Hardy also ran a PR today in 26:53 -- an impressive feat for those ladies that we're looking forward to seeing develop even more this season! Strong performances were had by the rest of the team with Afton Maynes in 23:46, Ella Sanford in 24:13, Cora Buss in 25:16, Chloe Woodrick in 26:41, Maci Allen in 29:55, and Sophia Hackett in 30:31. The Cougars are back in action next Saturday at the Prairie Heights Panther Run Invitational.
