NP JV defeated SB Adams in South Bend this evening 9-7 for the come from behind victory. CJ Beckner started pitching for the cougars going 2 and 1/3 innings allowing no hits with 5 earned runs, 4 walks and 5 strikeouts. Grant Laskowski pitched 3 and 2/3 innings allowing 4 hits, no earned runs with 1 walk and 7 strikeouts. Jackson Vanlue closed out the last inning for the cougars allowing 1 hit, no earned runs and 2 strikeouts. Leading the offense for the cougars was Caiden Hein going 2-3 with 2 singles and a walk. Grant Laskowski went 2-4 with 2 singles, a walk and 2 RBIs including the go ahead runs for the cougars. Jacob Waldron went 2-3 with 2 singles and a walk, CJ Beckner went 1-4 with a single and an RBI, Jackson Dutcher went 1-4 with a double and 4 RBIs and Dayne Ryans went 1-2 with a single, an RBI and two walks.
