The Cougars scored 3 runs in the 6th inning and 6 in the 7th to rally and defeat Edwardsburg 9-5. Sully Kress had a double and a homerun with 4 RBI. Reed Robinson had 3 hits, including 2 doubles and 2 RBI. Dylan Bishop threw 5.1 innings with 5 strikeouts. Riley Masters picked up the win in relief throwing 1.2 scoreless innings with a strikeout. The Cougars will be back in action on Tuesday as they welcome South Bend Adams to Bear Tolmen Field.
