2nd Place Sectional Finish and Laskowski Qualifies for Regionals

The Cougar Swimmers and Divers had a great sectional finals today at Penn High School. They ended the season with a 2nd place finish and our first ever sectional champion in Grant Laskowski for diving. Medley Relay team of Waltz, Albert, Goforth and Hayden 2nd 200 free - Dylan Hayden 5th, Graydon Long 7th, Weston Frazier 11th 200 IM - Brady Goforth 4th, Maks Clark 7th, Dylan Hall 8th 50 free - Noah Albert 5th, Maddox Waltz 6th, Tyler Mitchell 12th Diving - Grant Laskowski 1st, Colton Shelton 8th, Evan Thibodeau 9th 100 fly - Brady Goforth 6th, Dylan Hall 10th, Kimo Andrews 11th 100 free - Maddox Waltz 5th, Graydon Long 9th 500 free - Dylan Hayden 5th, Maks Clark 8th, Weston Frazier 9th 200 free relay - Waltz, Goforth, Hayden, Albert 2nd 100 back - Tyler Mitchell 8th, Isaac Keller 16th 100 breast - Noah Albert 4th, Kimo Andrews 9th, James Willis 12th 400 free relay - Long, Clark, Andrews, Hall 7th Swimmers ended their season with the best record in school history. There were so many great races this season and their hard work paid off with so many great times and improvements across the board. Keep your goals in mind. New Prairie also has our first ever Sectional Champion, in Grant Laskowski, for diving. Grant scored a personal best score of 375.40. Congratulations, Grant! Grant dives on Tuesday at Mishawaka High School at 5pm central time.
