The New Prairie wrestling team won Sectionals. The Cougars are sending 12 wrestlers to the Regional tournament at Crown Point next Saturday. Seven Cougars stood atop the podium as individual Sectional Champions Micah Vargas, Nik Freeze, Nate Scott, Colton Newgent, Jeffrey Huyvaert, MJ Staples, and James Hartleroad. Joining them at Regionals are Sam Ringer, Aiden Fernandez, Preston Hammond, Ethan Mechling, and Landen Buck.
