The Lady Cougars returned home for conference play against Mishawaka Marian. Another slow offensive night put the team chasing all night long. Seniors Envy Hesch and Hannah Hawkins Wiesner contributed significantly to the battle from start to finish. Each senior ended then night with 6 points. Leading the team in scoring was sophomore Brooklynne Shepherd who connected on a pair of 3s in the 4th quarter along with 3 freethrows for a total of 9 points. Every player who stepped on the floor competed and played hard from whistle to whistle. The Lady Cougars hit the road next week and head to Laville for non-conference play on Tuesday.
